Worship at Forest Park Baptist Church is focused on Jesus Christ, the one who is worthy of our worship. Everything we do is about him. Expect to hear Scripture readings, prayer, singing, and a sermon - all so that we can worship the Savior of the World, Jesus Christ. Additionally, on the first Sunday and third Sunday of every month, we take the Lord’s Supper.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: What time does the service start

A: Our worship service begins at 11:00am every Sunday. We also have Sunday School classes at 10:00am

Q: What should I wear to church?

A: Our dress code is informal, and we encourage people to come as they are and wear clothing that is comfortable and appropriate for a worship setting. You will find that some members of our congregation wear jeans and a button-down shirt, while others may wear dress pants and a buttoned shirt. Ladies may sometimes wear jeans and a sweater or a casual dress. We believe that what you wear should not be a barrier to participation in our worship service or community activities.

Q: Will I be expected to participate in the service?

A: No, you are not required to participate in the service. You are welcome to simply observe and enjoy the worship experience. We encourage you to participate as much as you feel comfortable.

Q: How long does the service last?

A: Our service typically lasts about an hour. We have a time of worship through music, prayer, and hearing the word of God.

Q: What kind of music can I expect?

A: We have a mix of contemporary and traditional music. Our worship team leads the congregation in singing songs of praise and worship to God. The worship music is selected carefully to ensure that it has meaningful and biblical lyrics that reflect the character and attributes of God, and that express praise, thanksgiving, confession, and supplication. The worship songs typically align with the themes of the sermon and helps to create a cohesive and unified worship experience.

Q: Is there anything for my children?

A: Yes! We have a children's ministry that provides a fun and safe environment for kids to learn about God. We also have a nursery for infants and toddlers.
