The Gospel is a message of salvation that originates with God. In John 3:16, we read that "God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." The Gospel is a demonstration of God's love for humanity, and it reveals his character and purposes to us. It is through the Gospel that God offers us the gift of salvation, and it is only through his grace and mercy that we are able to receive it. As Paul writes in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
